Welcome to Cascade Summit Montessori School in West Linn, OR where we provide a Montessori education for children ages 18 months to six years. My Name is Rose and I am the school director.
Cascade Summit Montessori School is a peaceful learning environment focused on using the Montessori Method to educate and develop children. Here, we do more than simply teach; we work to stimulate children’s curiosity, instruct them on important life skills, and let them learn through individualized sensorial, academic, and practical life lessons.
Our school is affiliated with the American Montessori Society and each classroom is led by a certified Montessori educator with a MACTE accredited Montessori Early Childhood Teaching diploma.
We encourage parents and relatives to participate in their child’s education by volunteering in the classrooms, for community events, and with our active PTO committee. Our PTO helps us organize community and fundraising events.

Ask the school director for additional details.
Elective programs allow Montessori students to learn by exploring creative outlets that will help them advance in the future—while giving your family more free time on evenings and weekends.
We offer Spanish, music, soccer, tennis and yoga.

I have been the Director at Cascade Summit Montessori School for one year. My professional experiences range from Primary Lead Teacher, school founder and owner, curriculum director, and director of Montessori schools over the past 14 years.
I was born in South Korea and came to the United States in 1992 to obtain my master's degree. While I was researching approaches to early childhood education, the Montessori method captured my attention and led me down the path of becoming a Montessori teacher. I enjoy both outdoor and indoor activities and enjoy cooking foods from different cultures.
Years Experience: 26
I have three beautiful children that all completed their primary education with Montessori Unlimited. I truly believe that the Montessori education was a strong foundation for my three children because they are very successful in their educations today. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, baking, and traveling.
Years Experience: 7
I fell in love with the Montessori way of teaching early on and love guiding toddlers to become independent thinkers. In my free time I work with a youth group and mentor high school aged boys. Each summer, I take group of high school students to Mexico to build houses for the homeless. I love hiking, camping and being outdoors.
Years Experience: 2
I have enjoyed working with kids of all ages all my life. I really enjoy watching them grow into independent thinkers through the works in our classroom.
Years Experience: 22
Certifications: Association Montessori International, Montessori Educational Programs International
Working with children has always been a passion of mine. My classroom shows my love for culture and geography and I enjoy showing the children how they are a part of this world and how to be kind and compassionate citizens. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, camping, fishing and hiking with my family.
Years Experience: 8
I love how the Montessori approach fosters independence in children. Watching children grow into themselves is a huge reward. I have a passion for art in all forms, as well as coffee of all kinds. I love spending time outdoors with my dog, Doug, and exploring all of the recreation opportunities Oregon has to offer.
