Welcome to Greatwood Montessori School in Sugar Land, TX. We offer infant, toddler and primary programs for children six weeks old to six years of age. Our STEAM Studio is certainly a small group favorite where children will have weekly hands-on experiences to further explore the subjects of science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics. We are very excited to announce parents now have access to live classroom streaming with WatchMeGrow. The feedback from our parents has been exceptional. They are seeing first hand the quality of care we provide!
With our Grow fit menu, Certified teachers, Increased health/safety practices, Montessori Compass progress reporting and picture sharing we truly are a school to brag about! Our school boasts a very large outdoor environment where children can run, play and explore. We also have an outdoor garden and a basketball court for the children to play and grow fresh organic vegetables.
We have been proudly serving the communities of Greatwood, Riverpark, Telfair and New Territory since 1999. We are well recognized and recommended for having the most seasoned staff in the Sugar Land Community. Our Primary Certified teachers alone have over 50 years of combined teaching experience and exceptional classroom management skills. We stand strong during these trying times and are very proud to have maintained such a wonderful team year after year!

I have been working in the education environment since 2001 in my hometown, Chicago. Throughout my career I have gone from a teacher aide, to a substitute, to a pre-k lead teacher. Along my professional path, I have worked as the director of assessments, income auditor, after school coordinator, camp director, assistant director, regional director and now a director. Fun fact: I raised all four of my now grown adult girls while owning a lucrative collectible and comic store.
I have a great passion to help every child that I cross paths with and take my job as an educator very seriously. I love being able to help mold children into great human beings. In my spare time, my children keep me very busy.
