Yes, Longwood Montessori has certified Montessori teachers who are trained to support your child's learning and development. We require lead teachers in our Primary and Elementary programs to hold diplomas from teacher training centers accredited by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE). This specialized training helps our teachers provide authentic Montessori learning experiences that encourage your child's independence, confidence, and curiosity.

We maintain secure entrances, follow visitor identification procedures, and release children only to individuals you have authorized for pickup. At Longwood Montessori, we ask you to keep your child home if they aren't feeling well. If your child develops symptoms of illness during the day, we will separate them from the other children so they can rest comfortably while being monitored by a staff member. We will also contact you to arrange pickup. For the health and well-being of your child and others, your child must remain home until they have been free of symptoms for at least 24 hours or their physician provides written clearance indicating they can return to school.

At Longwood Montessori, outdoor time is an important part of the daily experience at Montessori Unlimited and typically offered twice a day, as weather permits. When outdoor play isn't possible, we provide indoor movement activities throughout the day.
