Welcome to Our School
Welcome to Montessori of Shakopee, MN! We offer an hybrid Montessori environment as well as child care to children ages six weeks to six years. We offer Infant, Toddler and Primary programs.
Our prepared learning environments provide a wide range of quality materials in areas of practical life, language, cultural studies and Spanish. In addition to class settings, students engage in problem solving experiences in the areas of science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics.
We take extreme care to maintain our safe and healthy school environment. We have coded entry doors and all staff are certified in CPR and First Aid.

Education: Master of Social Work

I have been working in child care for 8 years and I have been with River Valley for 3 years. My passion has always been children and I am so glad I found my way to this career field! I have been married for 8 years and I have three kids and two dogs. I love to travel and am always up for an adventure. I also love anything Disney! River Valley has been in Shakopee for 7 years. We are so excited you found your way here and we cannot wait to show you around our amazing school!

I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with minors in Business Administration and Child Development. I've been working with children since I was nine years old, starting out as a babysitter. Over the years, I’ve continued building that experience by nannying for three years and working in licensed childcare centers for two years. I’ve worked with children from birth through age 10 and love supporting each stage of their development. I'm certified in CPR and F
