Great Foundations Montessori - Northwood

Great Foundation Montessori at the Northwood Campus is proud to be the original GFM school, established in 2011. For over a decade, we’ve provided an authentic Montessori experience for children ages 24 months to six years old. Our mixed-age classrooms are designed to support children during their Absorbent Mind years, and many of our Montessori Guides are tenured and credentialed, ensuring consistency and expertise.

We offer three distinct programs to support your child’s development:

Pre-Primary Montessori (24–36 months): This program lays the foundation for future learning by helping toddlers build independence and focus through developmentally appropriate materials.

Primary Montessori (3–5 years): During this sensitive period of learning, children thrive in a three-hour work cycle using hands-on materials created by Dr. Maria Montessori. This stage supports growth in language, math, practical life, sensorial, and cultural areas.

Kindergarten Enrichment (5–6 years): As students enter the final stage of our program, they begin to experience the “learning explosion.” Their confidence grows, academic skills blossom, and they take on leadership roles through Indirect Preparation — a natural development of intelligence.
