Welcome to Our School
Welcome to Corinth Montessori School in Corinth, TX. My name is Shirley Katherine Ramirez and I am the director.
We have been a part of the Corinth community since 1999. The Corinth Montessori School is a calm, peaceful environment focused on using the Montessori Method to educate and develop each individual child. Additionally, we provide the very best child care/daycare to local families.
We strive to create an environment that fosters warmth, creativity, and trust. We also believe a partnership between parents and the school is vital for children to reach their fullest potential which is why we offer several opportunities for family involvement.

Our authentic Montessori experience is enhanced by a STEAM Studio.
Featuring hands-on learning stations for Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math, the studio is available to Primary program students at least once a week.
- Science lab equipment will include items such as salt, vinegar, popsicle sticks, glue, clay, straws, etc., for children to perform simple experiments
- Technology learning experiences will be highlighted by tablets and educational apps
- Art studio activities will incorporate natural elements (such as leaves) and will feature various modes of art; for example, pendulum painting

Hello, my name is Shirly K. Ramirez. Everyone calls me by my middle name, Kathy. I have been working in child care for almost 23 years. I am a mother of four and have cherished every milestone they have had, and the lesson they have given me. My hobbies are reading and photography. Spending time with my boys and my fur babies is what I love the most. I look forward to meeting you and your child.

Rocio San Miguel, Assistant Director
Hello, my name is Rocio San Miguel. I joined Corinth Montessori in February 2022 as an Assistant Teacher. I've had many years of experience in the classroom primarily with children ages 3-5. At home I am a boy mom, I have 3 sons all under the age of 5. During my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, taking trips, watching my boys enjoy their childhood and starting our homestead.
