Welcome to Greatwood Montessori School
WE ARE NOW ENROLLING FOR THE SUMMER AND NEW SCHOOL YEAR!
Thank you for your interest in Sugarland Montessori School. My name is Brooke Khawaja and I am proud to be the Director here at this wonderful school. I majored in Child Psychology and Elementary Education and have a Child Development Associate's Degree, along with 15 years of experience in both teaching and school management.
Sugarland Montessori opened in 1999 and is a member of the American Montessori Society (AMS). Our teachers have an average of ten years experience and all our staff truly believe we are not here to simply care for children, but to prepare each child for life beyond preschool. I am extremely proud to lead such a wonderful, deeply committed staff!
Our school boasts a very large outdoor environment for the children to run and play and explore. In fact, we are located close to a pond in which we receive daily visits from the ducks! But parents can rest assured that the playground is securely enclosed for the children’s safety. We also have bikes and a basketball court for the children to play and ride, as well as other recreational learning tools.
If you are interested in knowing more about a Montessori education, I encourage you to call and set up a tour to experience the Montessori environment. I would like nothing more than to show you everything Sugarland Montessori has to offer, including discussing our new partial-week program!
“Free the child’s potential and you will transform him into the world.”
