Welcome to Our School

Thank you so much for your interest in our school. We are a Montessori School that does have optional daycare hours available. Montessori learning philosophy allows our students to learn at their own pace, while being guided by certified Montessori teachers.

We're pleased to offer our families access to Montessori Compass. This online resource enables parents to receive updates about their child's school experiences and communicate with their teacher.

Meet Bianca: 2025 Teacher of the Year Finalist

Every classroom has a special spark that makes learning come to life. At The Woodlands Montessori, that spark shines bright in Toddler Montessori Guide Bianca Lindley. Bianca’s classroom is a space filled with warmth, laughter, and tiny voices discovering their world. “I hope my students remember how much they were loved and valued,” she says. “Creating a classroom that’s filled with happiness, care, and respect has always been my number one priority.” 

 

Make. Do. Tinker. Think.

Our authentic Montessori experience is enhanced by a STEAM Studio.

Featuring hands-on learning stations for Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math, the studio is available to Primary program students at least once a week.

  • Science lab equipment will include items such as salt, vinegar, popsicle sticks, glue, clay, straws, etc., for children to perform simple experiments
  • Technology learning experiences will be highlighted by tablets and educational apps
  • Art studio activities will incorporate natural elements (such as leaves) and will feature various modes of art; for example, pendulum painting

Caitlin Austria, Director

Education: Early Childhood Education

Certifications: Child Development Specialist

Ms. Caitlin started as the lead teacher in our toddler room for eight years and had her own son attend The Woodlands Montessori. With over 18 years working in the early childhood field, Ms. Caitlin enjoys working with our teachers and families to create a wonderful learning environment.

Monika Howell, Assistant Director

Education: Bachelors in Family and Child Development

Ms. Monika comes to us with her bachelors in family and child development from Texas State. Serving as our administrative assistant prior to her current position, she knows just what it takes to help our school run smoothly. Ms. Monika loves building relationships with our children and families.

Julie Murray, Admin Assistant

Education: B.A. in Child Development

Julie taught for almost 25 years in the classroom before being in Administration. She brings this experience, expertise and passion to her role. She enjoys developing relationships with the students as well as their families. She loves working in this field and loves this school and loves seeing it succeed.
