Welcome to Our School

Welcome to West Glades Montessori School in Boca Raton, FL. My name is Christina and I am the director. Our school offers Montessori-certified teachers and a true Montessori experience following Dr. Maria Montessori's method and philosophy. All of our lead teachers have an AMI or AMS Montessori certificate.

We have been open for over 35 years and not only provide an authentic Montessori curriculum, but the best child care/daycare in the community. I have been here at West Glades Montessori for over 10 years. I myself attended Montessori from 2 years old to 4th grade. We at West Glades Montessori truly have a passion for educating young minds and giving children a strong foundation for their futures.

In addition to our Montessori curriculum, we also offer a variety of after-school programs that includes Amazing Athletes, Dance, Spanish, and Art. Our school provides a high-quality education that gives your child a true Montessori experience!

We're pleased to offer our families access to Montessori Compass. This online resource enables parents to receive updates about their child's school experiences and communicate with their teacher. We also give parents access to watch the live stream of their child's classroom through Watch Me Grow!

Give Your Child a Great Start With VPK

Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) is a free daily, 4-hour program, with the option of extended wrap care. This full-day learning experience enhances your child’s school readiness journey. Every child who turns 4 by September 1 may be eligible for free VPK. Schedule a tour to learn more.

Education: Master of Science in Special Education, Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education

Certifications: Montessori Certificate, First Aid, CPR

I have been at West Glades Montessori School for 32 years and have been the director for the last 10. The experiences I have had working here have been amazing and fascinating. It is a true delight to observe children and watch how their minds work and grow.

As a Montessori alumna, I have enjoyed both learning from and teaching Maria Montessori’s philosophy. In addition to being the assistant director, I also often help in the classroom when needed as well as run two after-school art programs for students ages 4-9.
