Montessori in Sugarland, TX

Hello, and welcome to First Colony Montessori South School. I would like to take this time to introduce myself. My name is Irma Gloria Huddleston and I am the director. I am a high school graduate and I have 17 years experience working with children. I have been the director of F.C.M.S. for six years and I would not want to be doing anything else. It is very rewarding when I come to school and see all the smiling faces and hear all the Good Mornings! from all of our children and parents. It is the children that keep me coming back to work every day.

Here at F.C.M.S., you will find that my teachers have a passion for teaching and caring for our children. All together, my teachers have over 30 years experience. I am very proud of the strong bond my teachers have made with our parents and children. Our teachers make everyone feel like they're a part of their family. We have an open-door policy where our parents can come in and discuss any concerns or problems at any time.
We offer after-school programs such as Spanish, art, computers, soccer, and two types of dance: tap and ballet, and Hip Hop.
