Our teachers — known as directors and directresses — have been trained in a MACTE (Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education) program. They guide children along the path of true discovery, to enhance independence, inspiration, and intelligence.
Significant time is spent with each child, helping them discover unique skills and interests, ensuring a solid educational foundation. This rewarding method is one reason our teachers love what they do – just ask and you’ll see their enthusiasm firsthand.
To ensure staff quality, we developed a customized assessment to select highly competent teachers and care staff. This validated pre-hiring assessment uniquely identifies high-quality candidates. To our knowledge, no competitors use such a tool.
We check references and conduct thorough background checks based on state and/or local licensing requirements. This includes fingerprinting and appropriate criminal background checks, as well as verification of educational credentials. Candidates who will transport children undergo a thorough driving history check and annual checks.
We do this all to protect the most valuable part of our school: your child.

The Montessori philosophy of self-direction encourages self-discipline. When children are truly engaged in what they’re doing, it’s easy to become absorbed, and to absorb more knowledge.
That philosophy even extends out-of-doors, where children play, explore, and learn – even work in gardens!
Cleanliness is vital, so we take significant precautions to prevent the spread of germs.
Providing a safe, secure environment is our No. 1 priority. It’s as simple as that. We make every effort to keep your child safe, happy, and healthy.
Every location has procedures and standards that are strictly enforced, including:
Menus include a variety of foods which meet daily nutritional needs and satisfy licensing requirements. When substitutions are necessary, we’ll maintain the nutritional content of the overall menu and post updates so you know what’s been served.
Meals are served family style and may include your child assisting in areas such as:

We encourage children to sample new foods and taste what’s being served; however, we cannot require children to eat or punish them if they choose not to eat all foods served. Please speak with your school director if you have specific concerns because of:
