Welcome to Our School

Welcome! My name is Tammy and I have been a parent, a Montessori certified teacher and am now the administrative director here at Bethany Village Montessori School in Portland, OR.

We have been proudly providing an authentic Montessori experience to the Bethany Village neighborhood since 1999! Additionally, we provide top-notch child care/daycare to local families. Our school is located in the heart of the Bethany Village area, close to Beaverton and Hillsboro and right off Highway 26.

We accept children 24 months to six years old in our Toddler and Primary/Kinder programs. At Bethany Village Montessori, our Montessori prepared environment includes eight classrooms with materials that were designed by Dr. Maria Montessori to aid the development of each individual child. We are a culturally diverse school where children explore, develop and flourish at their individual pace.

We are proud of our beautiful yards where children explore nature and plant their own herbs, vegetables, fruits and flowers. And during tours we like to highlight our unique STEAM studio, where our older students visit for additional opportunities to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Math lessons on a weekly basis.

We're pleased to offer our families access to Montessori Compass. This online resource enables parents to receive updates about their child's school experiences and communicate with their teacher.

We invite you to schedule a tour to learn more about our unique programs at Bethany Village Montessori School!

Here's what people have to say

5 out of 5 stars
Bethany Montessori is everything we were looking for in a school. The teachers genuinely care for the students and take a vested interest in their development. Along with the educational element, they also focus on instilling self confidence, independence and being a good person and friend to others. My preschooler is starting to read and do math, and will be well prepared for the future!

We love it. The teachers are wonderful, available and willing to communicate. We feel a lot of respect and attention for both parents and students. The school is clean and safe, the curriculum is excellent. We also appreciate the food provided. Top notch all around. If we had a third child we would send them there too.

Overall it has been great. The teachers show love and enthusiasm for learning and the children. My daughter has done very well in the program and just turning 4 could go straight into Kindergarten tomorrow and be ready to go.
